Brighton Baby Expo 2011 Update

I have just had a lovely chat with Suzanne Borrell from SMB Events, the organisers of the Baby Expo in Brighton and have been given permission to share with you their latest plans for next year’s Baby Expo.

The 2011 Baby Expo will take place the American Express Community Stadium in Falmer, Brighton in the summer.  The stadium is ideally located by the A27 Brighton by-pass, linking it northbound to the A23 and M23 motorway towards London and southbound to the A270 and the city centre – offering easy access for those within the area and travelling from further afield and avoiding the busy sea front area with its costly parking.  Falmer also has its own railway station which is a 9 minute journey from Brighton centre.

Within this state of the art facility, the exhibition space will compromise of one very large hall so easy for visitors to navigate around and exhibitors can be assured they will be positioned alongside other key companies. Free onsite parking will be available for exhibitors, with visitor parking provided within the university, accessed quickly and easily over specially constructed buggy-friendly bridges and pathways.

Suzanne told us ‘We are very excited that Jo Tantum – best selling author and international baby care expert, will be joining us as our VIP guest at the next show. As seen on GMTV, Sky Baby Channel, Channel 4, each month in Prima Baby magazine, at the National ‘BabyShows’ and on BBC radio, Jo will be sharing her advice and top sleep tips with visiting parents throughout the day as part of the packed entertainment programme. National organic baby food producers as well as leading nursery chains are also already committed to participating’. The only problem, as Suzanne advised is that the stadium is in the final stages of construction so there is not a confirmed date for the Baby Expo as yet. Suzanne continued “We have had an enormous amount of interest in the next event but we can’t take bookings yet which is a little frustrating. However I’m sure it will be worth the wait!”
